The zombies were the only good thing about this movie. The romance made this movie weird, in an uncomfortable way; she fell in love with R not even a week after he ate her boyfriend’s brain, and she was kidnapped for all but a day of that time. If they didn’t add romance as the zombification cure, but instead replaced it with the power of friendship or something, this movie could have been golden. R already had a best friend, so we didn’t need to see a very uncomfortable kidnapping scene. It had amazing potential, but it flopped hard.
