Food for thought

When it comes to food many people are picky nowadays, for instance kids do not want to eat their veggies, and vegans choose not to eat meat. What i do not understand is that people do not wish to try things even if the person says that it is good.

The banana mayo sandwich

For the first food we have a banana mayo sandwich. It was quite popular in the Great Depression. It was cheap and easy to make, and most importantly it tasted good.

The balut

This is called balut and it is a fertilized developing egg embryo that is boiled and eaten from the shell.

This is an odd delicacy that is sold as a street food in south china it is generally incubated for 14-17 days. the bault usually contains 188 calories with about 100 milligrams of calcium.

The durian

the durian is a fruit with a strong odor and is mainly known for being stinky. Durians are commonly associated with south east Asia, especially in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam

It is named in some regions as the "king of fruits". it has thorns on its rind to prevent animals form eating the seeds. the strong odor is also another reason to encourage animals to not eat the seeds.

Rocky Mountain Oysters

They’re deep-fried bull testicles, a favorite among cowboys and often served at rodeo events in the USA. You’re going to need a lot of beer to wash the taste of that out of your mouth. Personally i have not had any but i have heard rumors that they are good.
